Recently on July 7th, the WMCO hosted a Virtual Case Study/Plant Focus Tour of Tri-Coat Wood Finishing. The event featured a look into how owner Andrew Bauman successfully implemented a significant process improvement, boosted productivity, and optimized labor utilizing a methodology termed QRM. The virtual tour /case study event began with Lignum Consulting Partner Sepp Gmeiner in dialogue with Bauman on how he achieved his success at his facility and the challenges overcome to reach his vision of workflow. June for WMCO members was a particularly full month with two online networking events and our first cohort meeting for members that have already signed up for the Health & Safety Excellence Program. The event was a recent launch of WMCO’s first phase of our Export Readiness Project for 2021. It featured WMCO’s Export Toolkit: Research Resources for the US Market.
