On May 19th, Maggie Weaver, Principal of Shaftesbury Associates, joined the WMCO to present for our Export Round Table Event. The event was a recent launch of WMCO’s first phase of our Export Readiness Project for 2021. It featured WMCO’s Export Toolkit: Research Resources for the US Market. This extensive 61-page framework outlines nine core areas starting with Export Guides through to In-market contacts to Customs & Logistics.
For every core area of the tool kit, Weaver provided various market contacts, data, and resources to highlight strong market-performing areas within the United States.
The event also provided two break-out sessions for manufacturers, supply chain partners & service providers to share their questions & experiences on export, then return to the main session to comment on their group findings.
Weaver has spent the past 20 years focused on international trade, export, and imports by curating and presenting business connectivity information for SMEs.
From target markets, GDP analysis to in-market contacts; Weaver described how the Export Tool Kit works to find relevant information that will have the most beneficial impact on the business.
