For a lot of companies, time is always a premium. “We’re too busy right now” is something of a familiar phrase to us all. But how do we dig ourselves out of this situation? What can we do at our factories to get operations moving product out faster but not sacrifice quality?
Earlier this month, the Bluewater hosted a two half-day events on our Lean Road Map training. Our Lean Trainers delivered engaging and relevant and insightful lessons on the principles of lean manufacturing… and it was all done virtually! Pandemic aside, you gotta admit, that’s pretty lean!
The training was a two-day event on Lean principles and foundational elements focused on helping companies improve throughput in factories, reduce waste, engage staff members, and much more.
Online learning for this event proved to be a breeze as attendees engaged and communicated with trainers Brad Cairns and Sepp Gmeiner.
A benefit of hosting the lean training event online was attendees could be present for the event each day and continue their workday with minimal disruption.
The pandemic has created an increase in orders for many woodworking companies. The importance of waste reduction and increase in throughput continues to be an ongoing concern for businesses.
Brad and Sepp bring to the table relevant cost and time-saving principles for manufacturers to apply in their factories and walk away with takeaways to use immediately.
