There is a WSIB rebate program out right now that provides twice the rebate it normally does and on June 17th the WMCO in partnership with CME featured an information session on how companies can access the program.
Program Specialist, James Ebidia was on hand to provide a full description of the program on how wood manufacturing companies can implement it into their factories.
Over the past year, the WMCO along with James Ebidia have be providing both informative sessions on the Health and Safety Excellence Program (HSEP) as well as hosting a monthly wood cohort meeting for companies that have signed up to the program.
Both big and small companies are capitalizing on the HSEP program and are continuing to renew and reengage the program. The Health & Safety Excellence Program provides guidance and structure to implement safety topics for a business while simultaneously financially compensating with rebates to WSIB premiums for each topic completed.
If you are interested in learning more about the program, and being a part of the WMCO HSEP wood cohort, you can contact the WMCO for more information.
