On October 15th, 2020 BWA members join our first open discussion on the topic of Finishing for a variety of wood manufacturers and sectors. The event featured a panel of manufacturers and some BWA associate member finishing suppliers.
Prior to the event, manufacturing panelists were asked to select some of their most relevant issues that matter to the ongoing performance of their facilities.
Attendees were able to contribute to the discussion by sharing suggestions and ideas on experiences they have had in their respective shops.
Some of the topics discussed at the event included water-based finishes, converting red oak into white oak with wood colour treatments, managing dust, low sheen finishes and several other discussions.
The event was held over a 1 hr period from 12 pm – 1pm online enabling attendees to participate in the event with a minimal time commitment during the day.
