3 For 1 Plant Tour Success!

The event brought together wood manufacturers and suppliers from across Ontario to share ideas, learn from one another, collectively focus their attention, and contribute to the continuous improvements for Windmill Cabinet Shop. We also enjoyed an informative tour of Countertops Unlimited and the RM Classic Cars facility.

Windmill Cabinet Shop is a custom kitchen cabinet manufacturer located in Chatham, Ontario. Founded over 45 years ago, Windmill is now lead by Jon Bultje and Will Holsappel, both bring to the forefront of the company a strong focus on lean manufacturing and working toward modernization of technology and continuously improving processes. During the plant tour we focused on the finishing department and processes. The tour concluded with a very engaged feedback session, with many of our members sharing best practices.

After our networking lunch we toured a local countertop fabrication facility (Countertops Unlimited) and concluded our day with a tour of RM Classic Cars. We want to thank our plant tour hosts, and all the WMCO members that made this a successful event!
