Going Global Workshop: An Introduction to International Trade

Going Global is a series of workshops to prepare companies to get into export. The Wood Manufacturing Council (with financial support by the Ministry of Natural Resources) has presented these workshops now for the two years.
The introductory course was offered in Hanover (March 1), Thunder Bay and Kitchener.
The course in Hanover, with 14 participants, was well received.
The workshop is tailored to small and medium companies (SME) who are
considering starting to export in the near future, as well as to companies with some export experience, who can still benefit from this workshop.
The content of the Introduction course helps owners, middle management, sales, shipping, and finance staff to get a better understanding of the ins and outs of export, hopefully helping to prevent costly mistakes.
Bringing such training courses into the Bluewater Wood Alliance area is one of the ongoing objectives for the Bluewater Wood Alliance.
